Motorcycle Hauling

Does anyone have suggestions for hauling a 700 pound motorcycle with a Cedar Creek 38fl?

A second rig with a trailer or trade the CC for a toy hauler.

I would not want to tow it behind the CC.

Get a regular trailer and haul your motorcycle in the truck bed. I do!

Somewhere in here I've seen a platform with a single wheel that attaches to the back of trailers. These can hold a motorcycle. One of those might help. Apparently, it doesn't count as a tandem trailer on the back of the 5er, just an extension.

I saw a guy hauling a big bike on a Blue Ox single wheel trailer behind a 29RE Silverback. I didn't get a close look at how it was hitched up but it had to be a reinforced custom hitch (which would very likely violate CC's warranty). I've seen two or three of those Blue Ox trailers hauling bikes on 5ers so it must work. Looked pretty scary to me though!

That'd be the swivel-wheel ...

The ultimate single wheel trailer system.

Model 58 has a 1000 lb capacity. Note that there are states that do not accept swivel wheel as an attachement and classify it as a trailer. Read the FAQs on the swivel wheel site.

I have investigated all. Yes, the Swivel Wheel will do the job BUT it is mounted via bolted to a modified frame. You most certainly will void all warranty. Second, you may find yourself parked in the emergency lane on a bz highway as the state police refuse to allow you to go any farther as a tandem tow. There are horror stories out there!
Solution: as suggested, approved alternatives including a motor home.
OR, just rent a bike from Eagle Rider at most places in the US for $200 a day or $900 a week and give it back! Best choice since these bikes are mechanically excellent and current year models. They have unlimited miles. Dollar to risk, there is your best deal!
Last year for our final Daytona Bike Week, had the wife tow our 2 big bikes on our dual hauler following me. It's almost impossible to rent a bike during Bike Week or Sturgis. Have rented many times in Las Vegas HD and rode to Hoover Dam and beyond! Rented in California and rode Highway 1 north from LA. Beautiful memories.
I have been riding 55 years and wife has a 1700cc cruiser and has been solo for 21 years!
Make wise choices! Rubber side down!

Your problem is you live in New Hampshire and anything east of Ohio might have a hissy fit about a trailer extension.

I have a Swivel Wheel 58dw and tow a Goldwing. Hauled it to Montana and back without issue. Have talked to several people that have towed successfully in the east, but I am not going to chance some cop that doesn't have anything better to do.

If you live in the east, and you want to stick to a 5th, like the front living room style, and only going to haul one bike, then check out the new XLR 385amp. I think its cool.

Why not put a mount on the front of your truck, I seen someone do that. They had a slide in camper and on front of truck they had a mount for there motor bike, it worked great. I think it had a electric lift.
