New silverback owner

Hi all ,
DW and I took delivery of a 2018 35IK in mid January. Dealer said it was winterized as I noticed the pink stuff here and there.
Going to take it on a 4 day shakedown trip on Thursday and today I noticed the 3 low point drain caps were missing. Maybe I’m not that smart but on my old trailer the caps were always in place until I wanted to drain the fresh water or the anti freeze. If someone could set me straight that would be appreciated.
Also have to find out where they hid the anode for the hot water tank!

Needless to say the pdi was less than stellar. It seems like the Dealers rush to get things out the door like the manufacturer.

Looking fwd to seeing how the rest of the unit works.

The caps on mine were barely visable. Had to go underneath to see them.

If they are missing, very easy to get, I believe.

Awesome thanks,

So we upgraded from a windjammer bumper pull that had a great surround sound stereo system.

It seems like we have gone back a step or two in the silverback.

They have a Jensen sound bar under the tv and two outside speakers...that’s it.
I can’t tell if there is a sub somewhere and there is no speakers in the bedroom!

Am I missing something here I’m sure it’s too late to add more speakers except for wireless of some kind

I’m beginning to think we didn’t pay enough for the unit 😂

Pictures always help. My Silverback has two low point drains and they don’t have caps because there are controlled by two open/close valves. Those valves are located in the side storage compartment behind a sliding partition hidden from view. I don’t know what your third line is but perhaps it’s the fresh water tank overflow which doesn’t have a cap or a valve either.

On my 2018 29ik the one with the valve is the fresh water drain, and uncapped next to it is the freshwater overflow. Other side of the unit, near the stairs are the low point drains. One red, one blue. They have plastic caps that use a wrench to get on or off.

Mystery solved sort of...Found the 3 plastic caps for the low point drains, they were in a bag with the anode hiding in the kitchen sink. Doesn't explain why they are off unless there is some other valves hiding somewhere that drains the low point drains.

I'm going to fire up the water system and see what I can figure out!

You never noticed that before buying. All systems should be tried out before signing the dotted line.

Actually they made some mods in production between the time we looked at the units on the lot and when ours was made. I didn't take enough detail notes at the time to see what the changes in the sound system were. I'll figure it our some how.
