We placed our order 9/8 and it was done and off the line by 10/19. BUT we ordered BEFORE the Hershey Show and the dealer open house. So it was built in actually less than 6 weeks, and we took possession last Thursday

Anyone know who to contact for the Rockwood builds? Angie stated it was not her. She handles the Cedar Creek Products.

This thread is in the Cedar Creek sub-forum.

I suggest you ask this question in the Rockwood sub-forum.
That way fellow Rockwood owners will see it.

Email Run Around

Well, when the only answer I got from the dealer was, "I haven't heard from the factory yet." I sent an email to Denise as suggested above. Denise forwarded that email and I sent another to Angie who said, "Usually an order takes 6 to 8 weeks from the time you order until you receive it at your dealer" contact them. So I sent another email to the dealer who says, "Thanks for the reminder, I'll send them another email." Maybe I will keep the Jayco TT.

Scheduled to come off of the line on December 14th. I guess I had better ramp up the effort to get rid of the Jayco!

Thank you all for the contacts and info, this thread has been most helpful as we recently ordered and are seeking more specific timeframe as well.

Order is in!

Soon as factory builds them it is inspected then sent to a rv transport company to take it to the dealer.

My dealer (Cheyenne Camping Center) tells me that they have their own drivers and as soon as they get word that it is ready they will dispatch one of them to pick it up. Both they and the factory say it should be next week. With highs in the single digits forecast I hope it warms up around Christmas time since I plan to do a drive way trial run before we head south in January.

Cheyenne Camping Center is a great place to do business. We bought ours there and have been very happy with it. Looked at it there and did the walk thru. Wheather was bad so had them deliver later. Their driver driver delivered ours to the house and was very nice

I've purchased my last three units from Cheyenne camper sales, the sales and staff there are great to work with!

As long as I'm able to camp Cheyenne has my business!

My last trade they we're 5k higher on trade value then any other local and not local dealer.

The above is correct. Factories do not employ drivers. They drop units at transport yards and independent contract drivers sign up for the runs that fit their plan. Go to the Super 8 motel in Goshen and meet 20 drivers on any given evening. We were there, 20+ drivers leaving next morning x country AND Canada. Many sleep in their rigs in transit. They are not allowed to use interior of any rv.
Also, they get paid mileage point to point. If a more driver friendly route seems better; difference $$ in miles is on the driver.
Why Super 8? Clean and "Super" driver rate AND pet friendly. Many drivers have dogs traveling with them for companionship and safety ( barking )
We spent 2 nights there a year ago while our rv was being worked on. ( we had a cat traveling with us )

Yea I got a good laugh out of that one, almost pissed my pants. My project engineer who was in an office on the other end of my trailer came looking to see what I was howling at.
