Nice rig. Good to see you got it considering all the reduced inventory in the last couple months.

FYI. Really hard to tell at the angle of the pic but if your rear end sags and you don’t have/want airbags consider timbrens. Folks were flashing me at night since My ‘16 RAM3500 DRW was sagging under the 2800# pin weight. Timbrens leveled me out - I did not want active airbags.

I'm pulling my 2018 36CK2 with a 2500HD Diesel and being it sagged a touch in back, I had timbrens put on instead of a helper spring and it sets level now. Doesn't affect ride when no load. The timbrens replaced the bumper pads and are rated to 8600 lbs. I had a spring shop in town put them on my TV for about $325 or so a couple of years ago. Here is a link to etrailer on a set similar to mine - https://www.etrailer.com/susp-2015_C...ren&Redirect=8

If you ever need work on it whether warranty or enhancements, I highly recommend Amish Family RV in Topeka, IN. Orvan used to work at CC for 17 years before opening his business and is only 2 miles from the factory.

Last November he worked on 36 warranty issues and 18 enhancements done. One of the things he did during that visit to ours was to add an extra step from the living/kitchen level to the bath/bedroom level. Had it back again this past June for 2 more warranty issues plus some more enhancements & maintenance (e.g. check and repair seals and repack bearings). Well worth the trip.

Enjoy

I’ve been kind of looking at this issue for my 34IK. Here’s some pictures. Click image for larger version

So you can see I’m level even though it looks like I’m sagging. I think there is about 2800lbs on the pin. I think it’s just taking the normal rake out of it. Beautiful truck and you’ll love your Creek!

It tows fine so I decided not to do anything.Click image for larger version

Have you run it across a scale? Looks can be deceiving, but too me it looks like you might be light on the front even though it appears level. Scale with and without 5er for actual values. When I did mine I gained about 30 lbs on the front axle with 5er.

My 2019 36CK2 with Trail-Aire kingpin is pulled by my 2006 Ram Cummins 4x4 auto.
My scale numbers are when hitched together are:

truck with trailer off scale, 11,760
truck and trailer on scale, 22260
trailer with truck off scale, 10,420

I really don't know all these numbers mean, all I know is truck sits perfectly level when hitched up with about a 6" gap between fiver and 8' long top bed rail

I was going to put on my towing police hat and comment on how the back of the trailer looks too low until I realized it was merely following the curvature of the earth!

Great (BIG) looking rig that I know you will enjoy for a long time. Our experience with Couch on the order and delivery of our CC 34RL2 was also top drawer and a pleasure, glad to hear yours was too.

BTW I also suggest trying Timbrens if you ever decide you need leveling help.

Nice looking rig!

By the looks of the tabs on your screen shot, it also looks like you got your auto policy in order and are looking at fantastic vent kits!

Best of luck with everything! Let the modding begin!

I’d really be interested in so pics of the extra step re-fit you’re talking about, sounds interesting

Here is the only picture I have that I took when I picked up my unit from Orvan's. I could get you more but the 5er is in storage right night.

The width of the step is slightly smaller but is quickly overcome once you start using it. Orvan also extended and raised the handrail by making a new one. All well worth the cost of the enhancement. Don't have the invoice here (in 5er), but think it was under $500.

Tks, I think it would be well worth it too. Wish they would have done it at the factory.

Tks again

Air Lifts on Our F350

We have an early off the line 2020 34IK with a trail air pin box that follows behind our 2015 F350 Superduty 6.7 diesel, which came with factory rails for the fifth wheel/goose neck hitches.

Originally, we hauled an Eagle Cap 950 w/slide truck camper. We had Air Lift air bags put underneath at that time.

Now, we use them for towing the 5vr @75lbs. Levels/smooths out the ride on these in-severe-need-of-maintenance PNW roads/highways.

Happy trails, all!
