Outside tv

I recently purchased a 2017 38EL champagne edition. I am on the rv antenna and can't get any reception on the outside tv. I can do a channel search but it doesn't pick up any channels like the other 2 tvs.

Is the tv input on air/antenna before you scan for channels? Is there more than 1 connection on the antenna plate? Did you push the power button to the antenna amplifier?

Last time it was used, were you using cable? Maybe the last owner left it set for cable?

No, its set on air. It will go thru a channel search but won't pick any up and the other 2 tvs pick up 20 or more.

Was this the first time using the outside coaxial connection for this TV?

There should be a 3 way splitter somewhere, probably near the amplifier. They usually link all TVs for cable or antenna watching. Maybe a loose connection or bad 3 way splitter.

On my RV even though it is not a Forest River product alot of them share slot of similarities, on my connections inside my RV on my livingroom tv I have 3 hook ups.
#1 is for air/cable, #2 is for outside tv and #3 is for Satillite. If I want to watch my outside tv on air I install a splitter their and short cables to connect the #1 to #2 and to my living room TV. Yours may be similar. If not for a test if you are on air, hook up a cable from your outside cable to your outside tv and do a channel scan. Good luck.
