Peeling furniture

41 month old 29re silverback and the furniture is peeling. This is only one of several problems with this unit. Very discussed with it. We had a 2003 28wble Cardinal fifth wheel for 14 years and never had the problems this thing has had. It's very sad.

Bet your 2003 had cloth furniture and not the cheap pleather that ALL the rv manufactures are using today. Bite the bullet and get some fabric furniture.

What other problems have you had with that RV? The Faux leather is a direct result of customers wanting something they could wipe off when the kids or pets get their dirty feet all over it. You'd have to step up a few thousand to get an RV with real leather furniture these days. Take out the furniture and have it rebuilt and reupholstered with a durable fabric.

Our 2001 Bounder came with cloth seats. After reading other complaints about the fake leather, I am will stick with the cloth.

x2

Was warned about this issue from relatives that own other brands of RVs and have 'pleather' furniture. We ordered our 34IK with the 'cashmere cloth'. LOVE it, BTW.

Daycruiser You ask what other problems (1) Left side slide out doesn't always retract ( 2) Zone 1 a/c unit leaked water into the Rv (3) Twice the lights over the dining table have snapped off (4) Zone 2 a/c unit has quit working (5) Need to replace 3 seals on slide outs (6) Replaced leaking hydraulic line (7) Had to take apart the black tank drain valve it stuck open
(that was real nice) I think that's a pretty good list for a unit not even 4 years old.
