Keith52, the factory 1000 watt inverter had troubles tripping out even during my PDI. I let it go since other dealer's told me that residential fridges in campers were a headache, mostly due to undersized inverters. About 50 % of the time, I found the inverter was off line with an error code. It could have been a problem with the Xantrex inverter but I just installed a 1500 watt inverter from Harbor Freight. That inverter couldn' t start the fridge at all. I took it back and put in a 2000 watt unit. It has worked fine for over a year. It's a matter of the starting Surge required by the fridge. It's not worth cutting the inverter capacity too short. A 2000 watt inverter coats as little as $150.
