Roof cleaning and sealant for windows

What is the best cleaner for a rubber roof and best sealant for the windows, I have 2013 Cedar Creek fifth wheel.

Lots of posts out there on the roof cleaning products so a search may be of value.

For me....no petroleum based cleaners. I use Oxi Clean, Spic-N-Span and products like those.

Haven't had to caulk/seal windows (yet) so I don't have anything to offer there.

If you really have a EPDM rubber roof then harsh cleaners and petroleum based cleaners are not appropriate for EPDM. Dawn & Spic-N-Span are often recommended and there are many specialty EPDM rubber roof cleaners on the market. Once cleaned, most EPDM roof membranes need a sealer/UV protector applied as well.

For sealing windows, I assume you mean around the upper perimeter? The window frame to side wall typically has butyl putty tape between the frame and side wall and requires removal of the window to reapply the tape. Many manufacturers put a bead of sealant across the upper perimeter of the window and somewhat down the side. Use clear ProFlex RV or Lexel for that.

After getting a free sample bottle of Dicor's roof cleaner at the Frog rally in Goshen, I did a side by side test against Dawn, one side of roof with each using same brush. Dawn did a better job of cleaning. Downside to Dawn, it can remove wax from the sides of your rig. I'm not concerned about that because after doing roof, I wash and wax the sides.
