Shocks for what? There are people that add/have shocks on their trailers. Are you looking for shocks for the truck or the trailer?

I put "Joy Ryder" shocks on the trailer. Waste of money. Threw them away when I installed Independent Suspension.

I put Bilstein shocks on the truck, per recommendations. Can't tell any difference. Truck bounces over everything. Trailer doesn't bounce over anything.

Bilstein 4600 shocks for your stock truck. 5100 if you have a lift. No more truck bounce when pulling your rig over bad roads. Have had great success with them over many years. I will not tow without them. Shockwarehouse website usually has best prices.

Well dang, that's no good. I'm thinking you must have some other problem that causes undo bouncing, perhaps weight distribution.

We have no bounce for normal bumps. We will get some bounce with really bad spots like bad bridge transitions, but it will only bounce about twice, then stop.

You telling me I'm fat? LOL

I don't know what it is. But from the first day I hooked up, I've bounced all over. I've fixed the trailer. But the truck? Nada. Bilsteins made no noticeable difference. Just look all pretty, all that blue and yellow. LOL

Only distribution I can do is throw some stuff out. Every nook and cranny has something in it.........even if it's light weight stuff.

I put a set of Timbrens on Chev dually. When loaded it was bouncing on and off my overloads harshly. These ease the transition onto the overloads and help to take out some of the hard bounce. Easy to install, no air to mess with and they have a money back guaranty.

Do you have air bags on the truck to help? Also what tire pressure are you putting into the tires on the truck and does the bounce when the trailer is not attached? Or is the truck bouncing with the trailer attached?

Regardless what the manufacture puts on the tire information card on your truck for airing the tires, I run my tires at 45 PSI when the trailer is not attached. No bouncing when they are at that pressure with an empty bed.

Yes, have air bags, with a remote. I can change on the fly while driving. Sometimes it takes 85 lbs to help, sometimes 40 is best.

Tires are inflated to what it says on the door jam. I'm not going to underinflate tires and have a blowout. Been there, done that. I realize if I put way less poundage it'd ride better.

Truck bounces with trailer attached or unattached. Attached probably some worse.

I have zero bounce. you have something going on, hitch would be a good place to start.

Update: just saw that you have bounce when not towing. So shocks might be the cause.

I'll throw in a vote for Rancho RS9000XL with the adjustment knobs turned up to 11.
Incredible difference in my truck both towing and not towing.
Lifetime guarantee so my wife said we should have bought these when we bought the truck.

(Note: the "11" above is actually only 9 - reference to This is Spinal Tap)
