Shout Out to Cedar Creek
We feel we need to post this 'thank you', especially with this 'not normal' year we're having.
We had our early-production 2020 34IK (has 2019.5 interior decor) out for it's 2nd summer of fun.
Had a few 'bugs' show up: Literally, this summer was the 1st time using the a/c (in 112 degrees!) it had a 'rattle' in one of the living room vents. (Last summer, we only camped on the coast, locally, so no need of a/c out here in OR). A seeping leak on the hot water line under one of the bath sinks developed and dripped into the storage area near the cord reel and 2 LED pancake lights started to flicker and then started to die (early spring).
We reported the lights before the warranty ran out at the end of March, but due to CV19, parks & businesses were closed out here, several trips were cancelled and we couldn't get out to take her out camping OR in to the shop. The sink and a/c issue showed up when we were able to finally take her out and get some camping in (June). Then when we called for service, it was August before we could get to the dealer for service once they had an opening for us.
It was 5 months past manufacturer warranty. Our dealer's service department called Cedar Creek, explained the situation of the CV19 closures, the fact that they were booked into August for repairs due to being closed and Cedar Creek AGREED to cover the repairs of these minor issues.
That is GREAT customer service! We're so happy that we decided to purchase a Cedar Creek product. Between CC and our dealer, we feel we are in really good hands with this unit!
