In Sept of 2015 I purchased a preowned 2011 Silverback RE. Got a great deal and love the room. My unit does not have a fireplace. If any of you Silverback 29 RE owners have a unit of a fireplace could you let me know the size and make of the fireplace. I think they use Greystone but I sure could use the make, model and size of your unit. I contacted forest river and they advised to contact my dealer. I contacted the dealership that originally sold my unit and they want me to make and appointment, bring it in and they will give me and estimate on installing one. I don't want to drive 160 miles one way just to get and estimate when I just wanted a ballpark figure to decide if I really wanted to make my DW happy. If you have any pictures and especially where it is plugged in I think this is a mod I could handle. Would really help if close-up pictures of install were available along with the other info to decide if I want to try to do this.

I bought about $100 at Walmart. Lasted two years and heats good.
Took the shelf out and ran the power up to the receptacle behind TV. Put the shelf on top after running it and the cover does not get hot. Got the vaccum hose above it on the shelf.
