Slide Out on 2012

Bedroom slide out will open but not retract. Doesn't even make a noise when I push toggle to retract. 1. Idea of what is wrong? 2. Where do I go to bring slide out back in manually. I've looked everywhere.

It would help if you listed the type of slide operator you have and model of your rig. based on your description of the problem I think I would start with the switch check the wiring and the operation of the switch.

If only the one slide doesn't come in but the others do it is obviously that particular slide and it sounds more like a hydraulic issue then an electric one. That is especially true if the switch will extend all of the slides. Now if none of the slides work one way or the other then I would say it is the switch. I got rid of my 2012 not long ago and the switch was going bad but none of the slides would work.

If you have a meter go to the pump and see what is happening while somebody presses the switch in the different directions. It is only a guess but I think the switch reverses the polarity of the motor thereby changing the direction of flow of the hydraulic fluid. It is either that or the switch changes a valve to reverse the flow of fluid.
