Slide seal

I have a 2018 cedar creek 29re. Is it common to have a tear on the D-seal? I have conditioned all seals frequently. The top seal is torn away from the edge on one side.

It is common because Cedar Creek used a low quality supplier for the D-Seals. Mine were all cracking on a 2018. Good news is that they are easy to change and there are much better quality suppliers who make this seal:

Comes in a couple of different lengths. You can definitely see and feel the difference in the material quality and thickness. Very confident that this will last for a long time.
