Slides won’t work, level up and awning

Opening our 2016 cedar creek 5th wheel for the season and the slides level up and awning all don’t work. Have checked this forum. There is no reset button! Help,

Are you hooked up for electricity or running from your batteries?

All these items need good strong batteries.

X2 on the battery. Also check fuses, because even if you are on shore power, those items are 12v.

After hours of trying everything a fellow camper checked our batteries with a volt meter and 2 batteries were dead. We removed new batteries in our golf cart and put them in the camper and it worked!

I had put my 36ck2 in storage last may and when I went to get it out in Sept, nothing worked either. However my converter had failed. It's not always the batteries.

That’s what we thought too, but after the batteries were tested 2 were completely dead

so you left the batteries hooked up in the trailer all winter? if so i can understand why they went dead. there are several small loads that will drain the batteries over time. do you have the option of plugging into an electric source to recharge the batteries while in storage? can you use a small generator to charge them? i had this problem and installed a true battery disconnect switch that removes ALL loads from the batteries while in storage. i can now store the batteries for extended time periods without significant draw on them. others will say pull the batteries out and put them in your garage on a small trickle charger to maintain them.

I have always taken my batteries for the last 10-15 years. Living in Illinois having no heated garage and no basement I put them in my detached garage on battery misers. Believe that is better than putting them on something that charges continuously or only charging them occasionally (out of sight - out of mine).
