DITTO! Early model 2013 Silverback 29RE, Mastertrack, ST 235/80/16 Load Range E. I believe these are made by Unicorn Tire, a China based company? Will change my as soon as they show the slightest wear. Other than that, love the trailer!

My 2013 34RLSA came with Trailmasters, but I told the dealer I would walk away if they didnt change my tires to Goodyears. They put on a set of GY Marathons.

Part of our deal was that the dealer installed Michelin Ribs We had them on our other 5th wheel, never had a problem.

The Beast came with the 'Trail Distress' Tow Max garbage. I swapped them out for Cooper SRM's LT's.

Our 2013 34RLSA came with tow somethings. The dealer put the Transforce HT from my trade-in on the Cedar Creek and the two Golf cart batteries. They were basically new.

'10 Silverback came with the Trail Express.
They failed within a year after I had it while driving on a hot Texas road.

Replaced with GY Marathons (all 4 - if one goes, the other 3 aren't far behind). The dealer told me the tires were brand new, but were already 3 years old and not likely to last - he was right.

I watched them like a hawk. Less than a year later, one tire dropped from 80 to 70 psi and it seemed like there was a continuous rib running along the tread.

Nursing it home (it was cool due to the rain and I drove slow), the tire dealer confirmed that the tire had delaminated. Again, all 4 tires were changed, but this time with tires that were only a few months old.

Some lessons learned:
- *All* trailer tires are notorious for delaminating based on *age*, not miles or wear
- I've been told of brand new tires delaminating on the shelf after 3 years, my experience would support that.
- I still had a Trail Express tire as the spare and was planning to change it with one of the non-delaminated Marathons - my dealer advised against that since the Trail Express was newer
- Speed kills! - these tires are rated up to 65 mph - I now drive 60
- Maintain pressure - I check mine before every trip
- Inspect - I run my hands over the tire treads every single time we stop. I'm not an expert, but my dealer did help me with what I can feel and look for when a tire is showing signs of delamination
- Learn how to read the DOT manufacturing codes - these tell where it was made and *when*

Sorry to see the damage to your rig and it is a good thing that you had some duct tape, now that it comes in colors I may keep a roll on hand that matches my camper for things like this......

My 2014 33RL silverback came with Mastertrack tires. They were made in Poland. Go figure.

My 30RL Cedar Creek came with Mastertrack and so far has been pretty good and since I sometimes I run a little faster than the 65mph they are rated for, I will be in the market for a new set next year. Three tires to be exact, I have Goodyear tire for the spare. I also installed a TPMS system and it works great

Had a tread separate two weeks ago after about 70 miles of traveling. No damage due to being saved by my TST monitor system. Replace all four tires the next morning with Carlisle tires. Have about 500 miles on the new tires, seem very good.

I agree with earlier post about needing to change tires due more to age than to mileage. Never run without a TPMS. Saved me on two different trailers with the original tires
