Trip to Cedar Creek

We're planning a camping trip this summer and we're thinking one of our stops will be to the factory where Cedar Creek is manufactured. Who's made the trip? Was a factory tour given, and if so was it worthwhile? Where did you stay in the area? Thanks in advance!

We took the factory tour last year while attending the FROG rally. I thought the tour was very interesting, informative, and well worth the time. The rally attendees stayed at the Elkhart County Fairgrounds.

There will be another rally this year in early August and you might consider attending. It's a great bargain and offers a chance to meet many other Forest River Owners. You can find more information about future rallies and events in the subforum titled, The Rally Zone | F.R.O.G. Events. You can also find information at the Forest River Owners Group website at FROG - Forest River Owners Group.

We took the tour in April 2012, the tours are tuesday and thursday at 2 PM. Our tour guide was Brittany Nielson and she is very good in fact she was so good that we went home and ordered a 2013 Cedar Creek 30 RL. The factory is very impressive. We are very happy with our unit and have had no problems at all. If you have a chance take the tour

We took the tour today. Very interesting to see how our CC was built. Brittany was very knowledgeable and obviously believes in the product. I would recommend the tour to anyone.

if they allow it, take some pictures at different stages of assembly. they tend to come in handy when u wonder what is under the floor or in the walls.

The contact person for the tours is Brittany. Her number is 260-593-2404. The plant address is 501 Hawpatch Drive in Topeka, IN 46571.

Hope this helps,
Mike
