Water hookup

Hi. Can someone please let me know what this hookup is for and possibly what’s missing? It’s a 2020 Silverback. The first pic of course is where the input is (near the water heater) and the hole on the inside where it appears nothing is there. Click image for larger version

Does yours have a black tank flush hook up? I would guess it would be for that if installed. A funny place for a connection though!

Sorry. I completely forgot. It’s a 37FLH.

Thank you

Yes. There is an identical connection in the water control area labeled “Black tank flush”. Since there are 2 black tanks I thought this might be a second flush.

Honestly, it looks like where they screwed up and knocked a hole in your skin and covered it with a black tank flush fitting.

I looked at 5 walk arounds and none of them had that. The black tank flushes are/should be both in the convenience center as they call it.

It must be the future fire sprinkler connection rough in. Man, these RV manufacturers are really beginning to think of everything.

It’s a good thing you didn’t just connect a hose to it to try to work out what it was for. I agree that it is probably just a coverup for somebody’s mistake.

It’s right next to the furnace. Could it be a potential bbq future hookup location?

It's tge connection for your outdoor shower hose. Open the lid. There should be a quick connector. You might have to turn off the water to connect it though.

I think you missed the second picture. That’s clearly a hole screwed in the trailer by accident with a bad coverup attempt by cedar creek.

... and that lid you mention (1st pic) is the furnace, not a shower compartment.

Doesn't matter. Its just where they ran the shower pipe. Mine has a quick connect in the water compartment and another on the other side of the trailer by the electral outlet.

I don’t think you are paying attention.

Good place to run a extension cord inside. Seals great when not in use.

I’ll vote for this reason like TruckDriver.

Someone drilled a hole and this attachment covers it nicely. That’s all.

Another boo boo......but looks factory standard, and now others will want one for their rig.

We have a 2020 Silverback 37FLB with a bath and a half. We have a second black flush line near the rear of the camper above the water heater. It was labeled from the factory and flushes the second black tank for the rear bath toilet. We do not have anything near our furnace as shown in your picture, but we did see that the black flush line was near the furnace on the unit that was on display at the Hersey RV show last fall (we took lots of pictures of this model).

Thank you. As a newbie, the lack of information is very frustrating. According to the specs there is one 40 gallon black tank so I was having a hard time trying to figure out why one tank would have 2 separate flush hookups.
