One of the few things about RV-ing I've found a cheap solution to. I use Camco's wash and wax. Give the RV a good wash with this stuff and water in a bucket with a soft bristle car wash brush. I do it once in the spring before the first trip, once in the late summer/early fall. I use it on the roof, walls and awning, especially underside of the awning and it cleans and protects.
Bugs come off the camper with wet micro fiber towel between washes.
I just bought "The Final Coat" detailing spray online and did my new truck with it and think I'm going to try it on the front as it's a painted aluminum skin. So far I love it. Makes it shine, beads and sheds water easily and is slick to the touch.
