Weighed our 2021 Cedar Creek 36CK2

Purchased our 2021 CC Hathaway 36CK2 in August and l finally weighed it today. Loaded as we travel I was a little off on my so called educated guess of 15K. Trailer only as loaded for camping it weighs 16025 with a 16525 lbs max rating. Factory weight sticker said 12675 lbs we have added the washer and dryer, 2 group 27 batteries 2 2500 watt Champion generators, 22" Blackstone griddle and stand with extra 20 lb tank, a rear bike rack with 2 mountain bikes.Everything else is just "stuff" we have always used camping including 10 days worth of food and 10 gallons of water.
Truck only tank of diesel with 25k B&W Companion hitch, me the wife and about 20 lbs of stuff in truck was 9060 lbs. Hitched weight was 12880 lbs and the total weight was 25260 lbs. Factory pin weight shows as 2525 I'm at 3820. Looks like going with the dually was the right call I still have over 1100 lbs of payload to carry MORE stuff. If I add much more weight I might should have kept my CDL when I retired.

We've got a 2018 36CK2. Ours has the washer dryer option also, but no generator. We've got the same Blackstone grill, assorted folding chairs, tools, leveling blocks, 2 folding Ebikes, etc. When I weighed ours out, it came to 2880lbs of pin weight, 13,920lbs trailer weight and 22,840lbs combined weight. We had an F350 SRW that we started with and it did great. Unfortunately, that truck was wrecked so we upgraded to an F350DRW. I've got 5100lbs of cargo capacity with the truck, we could easily add a couple thousand lbs of cargo to the truck or trailer without an issue.

We also have a 2018 36CK2. We have the stack washer/dryer, a 22" Blackstone Grill in the front compartment and 2 Fat Tire E-Bikes we carry on our custom heavy duty rear receiver. Road ready with 15g of water, full LP and all of our food and stuff the trailer weight is 14,700 lbs. Hitch is 3040lbs. Total combined is 23140lbs. 10.8 mpg hand calculated average. Set the cruise at 67mph and go!

DeanV - do you mind me asking, what type of rack you have on the back of your 36CK2? We used to haul regular beach bikes on a rack behind ours but I always thought they were getting beat up from all the bouncing around. Our Ebikes are 65-70lbs each and I'm not sure I would trust the hitch that came from the factory to support those on a bike rack.

Here is a link to a post I did on Facebook about it. Definitely want to have a qualified welder put on a proper 2" receiver.

Teamster4life - is it different in AR, that actual weights are used....in our state its the listed GVWR of each as far as needing a higher license class.

Last time I checked in Arkansas all RV's were exempt from cdl requirements

I don't know if it's true but I was told that if your combined gross weight rating exceeds 26001 lbs. in Texas you need a CDL.

Not true. Over 26,000lbs you need a Class A "non commercial" license. Very easy to get and doesn't require log books or any of the commercial "stuff"

This is true in IL also. This would be the Gross Combined Weight (GCWR) rating of trailer and tow vehicle.
