Wet Carpet At Corner of Slideout

We have a 2007 Silverback 5th Wheel that has been parked a couple of years now as we are permanent on siters. Last weekend we noticed the carpet at the right side facing the slideout for the sofa/dinette was damp and it had not been raining. We placed one of those moisture catchers at the damp spot and with temps in the upper 70's/low 80's all week with no rain, we were hoping that the spot would have dried out when we came back this weekend. well, that wasn't the case. I have no idea where to even begin looking for a leak. Any advice?

Any water lines in the walls or floors adjacent to the wet spot?

I know you are on a permanent site, but I would probably turn off the city water, fill the fresh tank and run on the pump for awhile. If the pump comes on periodically w/o opening a faucet, you might have a leak somewhere.

Or just turn off the water next time you leave and see if that wet spot dries out.

Are you in a park? Maybe water sprinklers hitting your camper?

eitsfan, hate leaks and they can be a bear to find. Could you take a few pictures and post the of the area. There are many great people on the forum perhaps with a bit more info someone will be able to help a bit more.
