Whirlpool Convection Microwave

We have a 2014 36CKTS with the Whirlpool convection microwave. It is not vented to the outside, and takes a long time to heat up, and to discharge heat. Does anyone else have this issue, or is our's not installed correctly.

Odd. Ours is vented to the outside.
It is not the most powerful microwave, but it does the job. The propane oven is now just used to store pots and pans.

Ours is vested outdoors

If it is not vented, there is an installation problem. Yes it takes forever to preheat but does and excellent job otherwise.

My 38EL is vented outside. It does take forever to preheat but works fine otherwise. I don't have a gas oven just the convention oven and induction stove top.

Ours isn't vented either but it does the job alright when needed. The propane oven is a glorified bread bin that we have used once when testing to see if worked correctly.

Our 2014 34RLSA is also not vented to the outside. It comes that way from the factory. There are some members who did a mod to vent it out the side wall. You can search for the mods on the forum.

Does your unit have the vent to the outside? My Cedar Creek came with a vent but the microwave blew air inside. I dropped the microwave and turned the motors around so they would blow outside. Someone on a thread said you could reverse the wiring but for me it was just easier to turn the motors around. I think there was instructions in the microwave manual for turning the motors around. Dropping the microwave is actually a person and a half job
