Wires Fell Down

I have a 2016 Cedar Creek 36CKTS. I have been in the same campground for 3 months because of Covid-19. A few days ago the bundle of wires on the passenger side under the slide fell down. I don't see how they were attached so that I can refasten them. Could someone who has this RV please look and tell me what is used to fasten them up. Here is a picture:

My 2016 Creek is in storage right now. But if my memory serves me right the wire loom is held in place by a spring that connects to the slide frame and than to the wire loom. Look for any springs lying on the ground.

Someone else might be able to post a picture for you.

It looks like the wire support, and it's broken loose at the outer end. That's a common issue. Most people take a hinge and attach it to the support and to the bracket (piece hanging down in the top center of the pic with the two screws in it) to keep it from breaking again.

Mine is attached to a long hard rubber strip. It sort of folds up when the slide is put in. Here's a few pics:

X2

You can see part of the support (called a rubber strip by cboss) attached on the loom with zip ties and it broke loose from the attachment point right where Bama explained.

Each unit is different. I was hoping someone out there has a 2016 36CKTS Cedar Creek to show me what their underside looks like.

Bama and 5picker gave you exactly what you need. If you hold your wire loom up you will see exactly where the black flat plastic support is supposed to attach, as the other end of that black plastic piece is still attached to the slide. You can either fix as Bama said, or replace the flat support strip which you can buy at any RV parts site/store.
And yes, every unit is slightly different, but most component parts are exactly the same.

In your picture look at the lowest point. There is a tie-wrap with "something" attached to the back. Now look straight up and you will see a rectangular "something" that that seems to match what you have on back of cable. Notice that it is not covered with dirt and dust.

I am going to give you a WAG and say that is where it goes.

Good Luck!

I see that, but I don't see how to attach the wire bundle to that point. There is no place for straps, no hole for spring, no sticky residue where it is shinning to indicate glue or adhesive was used.

That's because the plastic piece that those bottom screws are holding on, is broken from the plastic piece that's ty-wrap'ed to the wire loom/cable.

I'd do something different. Have someone run your slide in and out while you observe how the wires move. I suspect you'll see that you can use heavy weight electrical zip ties for the fix. It doesn't have to be factory perfect, just close enough so the wires move freely and without chaffing.

Thank you, I will give that a try.

Also, if you have another slide, it should look the same if it has a wire loom/support, hopefully unbroken

The opposite slide on the Cedar Creek is completely different. That was the first thing I checked.

The cable bundle does not reach that bracket. That was my first thought. But, that would have been too easy.
