2014 E450 Behind dash wire harness

I recently purchased a 2014 Leprechaun 319ds, while changing out the front head unit, I noticed this bunch of wires. All unconnected, heavy gauge (for behind dash) There is a small plug attached to one wire with the label "trigger" They do not appear to be Ford factory. and they do not appear to be rear camera related.

Does anyone know what they were for?

Battery boost? Trailer controller?

While I'm on the subject, has anyone successfully installed upfitter switches on their e-450, factory trailer controller?
thanks

Welcome to the forum its a great place to get your questions answered. This is a guess on my part the wires look like what would go to a after market brake controller. I have installed uplifter switches on an F350 for fast idle should not be much difference for the E450

Thanks, I will investigate more when I get a chance.

As for upfitters switches. I also installed them in my F250 a few years ago, it was super easy and there’s a ton of info for F- series. But for E series, information on the internet seems very limited. When I get it all figured out, I’ll probably post a “how to” with part numbers. The switches are super useful.
