2018 Freelander 27 QB Checking rear tire air pressure

We are both new to RVing with the C class, but not new to RVing. Seems like a rookie question, but how in the world do you check the air pressure on the rear Dual tires? I barely have room for my fingers much less a gauge see pic.Click image for larger version

I recommend having your Tire dealer install the fixed extension dually tire valves. They replace your current valve stems. Tires have to be removed for them to be installed.
They will be similar to these.

Your tire dealer will order based on your wheel size and make. Mine were $100+ installed on our 28QB.
The long straight one is for the inside tire. The curved one for the outside tire. The rubber bushing slides over the straight stem and secures it in the outer dually wheel pass through to dampen vibration of the long straight valve stem.
With these you can mount your TPMS sensors. Some fabrication to wheel covers may be necessary for TPMS mounting.

You can see where I worked on the wheel covers to improve clearance in the upper left. I also did some less severe mod to the lower right. I used a cutting wheel I have for this. Slow and easy and a file to smooth inside edges.

Just curious, BD Howie, which TPMS did you go with? Happy with it?

I took the wheel covers off, put them in a box. Buy a good truck style gauge and your done. Ten bucks. Best part you never lose a wheel cover.

I usually pull the wheel covers, the dually valve extension kit works too, used to use those on my F350. TPMS from TST is a good option.

I have the EEZTIRE TPMS. It works very well. No booster needed for our 35-40' total length when towing using a dolly. I have had them for a couple years. Just now changing batteries.
They have recently upgraded their unit to have the trailer axles to be independently set. I am considering upgrading the receiver to the new unit. It will better work with the tow dolly axle and rear car axle psi differences. Contact them at eezrvproduct.com to ensure they send the new version. They have been very good to respond to inquiries and email.
