Air bag suspension for Leprechaun/Forest River 200cb?

I have a 2020 Leprechaun 200cb. Love it. Except that the ride is atrocious!! I'm desperate to get air bags for it but was told by a local mechanic that there are no airbags for this model and that I had to wait "a few years" until an after market airbag was made for it. Anyone have any intel on this would sincerely appreciate. JJ

Moved thread from the Modifications and Updates section to the Coachmen Motorhomes sub-forum since the OP is asking for model-specific information on suspension parts for a Coachmen Motorhome.

The mechanic may be right but you could check with Kelderman (around $4000): https://kelderman.com/shop/catalogse...ransit+cutaway

Or LiquidSpring (closer to $10,000, although I'm not sure they make a kit for a Transit: https://liquidspring.com/rv-suspensions/

On the other hand, if you're looking for simple add-on air bags like Firestone Ride-Rite, sadly, that is not going to improve the ride quality. It's going to ride like a class 3 truck because that's what it is.

You might look into Timbren rubber springs. They perform like airbags, but you install them and forget about them. Also usually cheaper. They have a progressive rate. I have had them on my last few trucks and now my dually, not so much for load support but for their shock absorbing benefit on large bumps and dips. They help to control the motion of the stiff leaf springs. On my GM trucks, about a 10 minute install with only a large screwdriver, floor jack, and a piece of 2 x 4 wood.

X2 on the Timbren helper springs. I think my E-450 Timbrens cost about $400.

Check your weight on a Cat Scale. Check front and rear axle weights. Overloading the rear axle is easy to do and hurts the ride. Balance out weights as much as possible.

Check tire pressures too.

Beyond that, your unit sounds too new to have worn suspension components.
