Another Air Conditioner Question for Forum

Due to height considerations under a steel beam of a building where I am going to store my 2009 Coachman I am changing the Factory installed Duo-therm Air conditioner for a Coleman Mini-Mach 8 (14.5" vs.8.25 height). I am also installing Coleman's thermostat to match unit.

My difficulty and question is mating the Duo-therm furnace control function to the Coleman thermostat. The thermostat heat function is limited to a 1 amp max. It appears that I may have to wire in a power relay. Has anyone done this switch before that could shed light? I can figure it out but any experience would save time. Thanks in advance.

Here's the problem I see and maybe I'm wrong but here goes.
Iirc the mini Mach is only 7100k and you currently have a 13.5k I do not think you'll be happy with almost half the cooling capacity.
The 13.5k in hotter humid areas is probably pushing it.

perhaps my wording was wrong. it is a Mach 8 lo profile which is available in 9200,13.5K. and 15K BTu's. I went with the 13.5K as the 15K was a couple of hundred more dollars . Boy did you give me a heart attack before I checked once again behind myself. Got it on this AM but may have to wait until warmer conditions to tighten gasket to specs.
