2017 coachman leprechaun 260DS Black tank leaks when it get up to the level where the flush goes into the tank. I have been told the fitting that hooks the flush hose to the tank is pressed in with a flange on the back to keep it in. Anybody know how to get this fitting out and how to get a new fitting and put it back in. It does not hook to the tank with screws.
it looks like it's spin welded in place, the build up of black around the fitting appears to be ABS from the tank. Requires special machine. Since it's not under pressure you might be able to stop the leak with some sealer like Flex Seal. Get it good and dry/clean first and wipe it down with mineral spirits to get all the grease and oil off.
Get some 3m 5200 sealant, after it cures in 24 hours it will never leak. That stuff is great, it will seal anything even under water, I used it on my sail boat never leaked even below the water line. You can get it at most ace hardware and any big box store.
