Blue Ox Trucenter Steering Control

Does anybody have a Blue Ox True Center Steering control? If so, is it worth it? How does it do? Any information would be appreciated. I have a 2016 Mirada w/a 2015 Ford F53 Chassis. Thanks.

I have the same MH on a 2016 chassis. I put the Roadmaster steering stabilizer on it and it helps a lot. I don't know how much better the Blue Ox would be but in my opinion the stock chassis needs something.

Tru-center

I have had the tru-center on my coachmen 37TZ going on 4 years now. It has made a very big difference in staying on course in side winds and 18 wheeler passing. I also had Tiger-track installed in rear. Did a cross country without them and one with them. Without I had to grip steering wheel very firmly (almost white knuckle) and developed ache across shoulders and arms. With them much more relaxed and do not develop strain pain across shoulders. Of course tempts me to drive longer then get pain (my fault). For really fierce side winds nothing you can add will help other tan pulling over and waiting for winds to subside. Safety first.

We have a 2014 Encounter 37LS. I first added a steer safe. After getting it adjusted properly it helped. I then added Roadmasters larger anti sway bar and a rear track bar which improved handling tremendously. I have also just added a safety +. We are leaving tomorrow for FMCA International Convention in Chandler AZ. I will let you know if I see any additional improvement. We are in Conroe Texas so we will get a good test in the West Texas winds. So far the addition of the track bar has made the biggest improvement.

Just returned from the FMCA convention in Chandler About a 2600 mile round trip for us. I must say that the addition of the Safe T Plus in addition to my other improvements to the old F53 made a nice difference. We had a lot of wind on the way out and while I did have to hold the wheel into the wind there was none of the whipping back and fourth. Now when i get a gust the coach seems to move as one piece. I also noticed that I did not get the old ache in the shoulders that I used to get after a days driving

I added a safe t plus to mine and it makes a huge difference. I think these are all mostly the same.

Thanks. I looked under my 27QB and it looked crowded where the steering arm is located. I wonder how hard they are to install (safety T plus)??

The company has a few videos on the internet. Watch them and you can decide whether it is too difficult for you. It is work, but I don't think it is very hard.
