Cargo bin door, no cargo bin

We purchased a 2019 Coachmen Mirada 29FW. The cargo bin door on the front driver's side, just behind the front wheel, has a locked door but when you open it there is no compartment there. You can see the jack, the ground, the front suspension and other mechanical parts. There is an unmarked box just inside the door on the right hand side of that area, with a plate that can be unscrewed and removed. No, I haven't unscrewed it and taken it off. Otherwise that box is completely sealed and attached to the bottom of the "house".

Just curious if any other Coachmen/Forest River owners have something similar, and what the purpose of it might be.

That could be the controller for the slide motor, would be my guess, open it and see.

Possibly the hydraulic pump for the jacks.

It’s the headend of the jacks. Open it up and study it. You might need it someday if your hacks need manual override.
