Coachmen Encounter Forum?
Why is there no area for discussing the Coachmen Encounter's or other Coachmen motorhomes? If there is one hide here somewhere could someone point it out to me please?

To be fair, Coachmen is a fairly new member of the Forest River Family and not many are here yet. Welcome for sure.
Most issues are pretty generic and the tech forums are where most orphan or newly acquired Divisions hang out. We will look at adding a Division unique sub forums to both the trailer and motor home areas. This issue will be bumped to the "Back Room" and we will see what we can do for our Coachmen members.

I do not have an Encounter, but am researching one at a local dealer. The lack of updated owner input is making me hesitant to do a deal.

OK, Coachman will have its own discussion forums one in motor homes and one in travel trailers.

When checking I found there was a Coachman/Catalina Forum in travel trailers so no changes were made there.

I hope you did not go to this trouble for nothing. Surely there are some Coachman owners out there.

Don't tell me I'm the first here with a Coachman Mirada. Just signed the papers today and can't wait to bring her home. I'm kind of excited about it. I'm trading up from a Wildwood 28RLSS.

since Coachmen was a fairly recent acquisition for FR, there hasn't been many owners of any of their products here.
probably because they have their own owner's website:
Coachmen Caravan Club

We looked at an Encounter 37TZ and it appeared to be put together cheaper than the Georgetown 377XL that we looked also. This was easy to see in the TV manufacture and the feel of the bed.

We have had very little problems, the only thing was the step motor went but coachmen took care of it. We have taken it from MI to FL 3 times and are headed back in about 3 weeks the ride is very good for a gas coach the wife loves that you can get up and walk around get food or use restroom while making time down the road. Just love all you get in the Mirada for the money hope you guys love yours as much as we do, do you have your first outing planned with it yet?

We Love our 32ds same floor plan as the 35 just not 1.5 baths, the floor plan works well for us lots of storage. They are all on the ford now so it really is about the house and we feel the Marada is built very good and you get alot of value for what you pay. We have had ours for alittle over 2 years now and would buy it again. Have fun with the hunt and good luck.

Hi first time poster. We've had 2011 35DS almost two years. Been reliable so far. Just A few small issues covered by warraty. DW loves extra bathroom next to bed. Have found extra holding tank A plus as well at times. Traded in 2005 Monaco Esquire.

Hello Everyone, I joined not long ago and just found this forum. We have a Coachmen Encounter 2011 37FW. Love everything about it so far other than it is in storage now as its pretty cold here in Indiana. We are having an issue with the generator now, it will not stay running, 4 flashes, which the code says OVERSPEED, dealer says to bring it back when we get it out of storage and they will take care of it. Anyone else having any issues with theres?
Thanks
Brent

Joel, hope you guys had fun and learned alittle about your Mirada. Were did you head to the weather out there should be nice this time of year. We are leaving in 2 weeks for 2 weeks down at Disney can't wait, let me know if you have any ?. The one thing we did add to ours was steer safe to help when semi's go by we feel it was well worth the money.

Found it!
At last a Coachmen site. My Encounter 37TZ should be out of the shop with the initial shakedown issues addressed by the dealer.
