Crack in the fiberglass exterior wall

I have a 3" crack in the fiberglass exterior wall.
One the main driver side wall starting from the corner of the slide out.
Looks like a stress crack from either the movement of the slide out or the flexing of the bed over the cab.

My question is what can I use to keep water out this winter, until I can have it looked at in the spring?
I need something like tape to close the crack and keep water out.

I will upload a picture of this later.

Also any idea of how to fix this permanently.?

Personally I wouldn't wait for spring, ( when dealers are extremely busy), I would take it in as soon as the winterizing rush is over. November or December.
