Curiosity killed the kat

Sighhh. Have our new 2018 Freelander 26RS loaded for travel, ran her across a CAT scale, we weighed 3880 front (max is 4600) and 8680 rear (9600 max) we also have full fuel/propane/food/beer etc... black/gray/fresh (31/31/50gl) are all 1/3 to 1/2. Tag on camper says 65psi f and 80 psi r. rides a bit rough, is it ok to run 60# f & 65# r? with water tanks empty?

Am I way over thinking this? Is my spousal unit right? Maybe I'll uncork another wine and await comments......

Oh... next month we're towing my p.o.s. Versa on a dolly, any changes I should enlighten my man servant about?

Thanks in advance for enlightenment...

Use what is recommended, specially if you are going to add a dolly with a car. We have 80# in the rears in ours.

Your question sparks the beat to death conversation of Maximum Inflation (Blow Hard) vs Actual Correct Pressures for the Actual Load. That number depends on what tires you have. Since you did provide enough specificity to answer, you should use what it reads on your placard for maximum load.
If you want the full answer, you will need to go to the tire manufacture to get it.
The coach and chassis manufacturer will tell you to be a “blow hard” because that is what the lawyers tell them to say. IMHO of course.
Maybe Tireman9 will jump in with highly technical data that can make you regret asking.

Does your unit have airbags? We have a Concord 300DS, I run the tires at max pressure than adjust the amount of air in the airbags according to load. We typically go out loaded pretty close to the GVW so my airbags are running 70psi or so. Also remember you have a truck, it ain't never going to ride like a luxury car.
