Electrical issue

There seems to be some type of disconnect between my remote and the engine. The fin will not unlock the doors, or start the engine.
I have a2022 coachman nova. Purchased new and had less than a year. I know it's not the battery. I was able to turn the engine on using the emergency start. The fob worked at that point as well. Of course, the engine shut off after about 15 sec. It is currently at the dealership waiting to be looked at. Any suggestions?

Moved thread from the Plumbing and Water Systems sub-forum to the Coachmen Motorhomes sub-forum since the OP's questions are specific to a Coachmen product and has nothing to do with Plumbing and Water Systems.

Not sure and just thinking here as we have a "B" and I understand some time back in 2000 or 2001 coachmen added a BOX, which when charging the House batteries will also at the same time charge the engine battery all at the same time. Thereby no need to hook up a separate charger to the engine battery.

Now if this in any way is having an effect I do not know and the only BOX I know that has a connection between both.

Could it be the keyfob battery? IF the fob battery needs replaced it won't unlock the rig or start the engine (assuming you've got a push button start).
Ask me how I know. I spent a couple of hours trying to unlock my car until I changed keyfobs. ( You can replace the battery in the keyfob, but it's not easy.) I had been having intermittent problems opening the door and starting the engine. My keyfob battery only lasts around 2-3 years on my KIA soul. The car is smarter than I am and the display panel tells me when the battery is getting low on the fob.

Hopefully it's something as simple as that.
