I just took a peek at it and from Coachman's website it looks like a real solid rig. Nice that it's on a GM chassis too.

Hello, I have an 2013 Entourage 330DS. I took delivery Aug 2023 and I've got a lot to say about Coachmen's first entry into the Super C world. Some of it good, but a lot of it not so good. First of all, I love the Truck and drive train on this coach, but I don't love the suspension. They really should have put on the Air package for the Chevy 5500HD chassis, and mostly because they decided to take some shortcuts on the furnishings. I've taken 2 long trips - one from Michigan to Talladega and one from Michigan to Daytona. Both trips I came back with a laundry list of issues that I had to take back to General RV. Thank goodness the coach is still under warranty. Some of the issues were manufacturing problems on the first trip, but on the second it was due to how rough this coach rides plus the cheap furnishings Coachmen decided to put into this coach.
Most of the drawers, the bottoms have been falling out of. The microwave bounced off the bracket holding it on the wall. The dome of the shower has already cracked and leaking when it rains. The TV in the bedroom stopped working, and I know most of this is due to all the bouncing.
I can see right now, I will need to spend $15K to $20K on upgrading the suspension, so I won't have these problems post warranty.
This is my first Class Super C, and first Coachmen I have purchased. it is my 3rd motorhome, first 2 being Thor built.
I don't mean to sound disgruntled, because I do like this coach. It does have some nice features. I just hope Coachmen listens to this type of feedback and improves the motorhome going forward.
If you own an Entourage, I'd really love to hear your experiences with your coach. Especially what you think of the ride. Please respond.
And if you are from Coachmen, please reach out and offer to help me upgrade the suspension on mine.

I dont have an Entourage but the two times I took mine through Michigan I had issues with trim coming off and other battle wounds from the terrible roads in that state, and I have air bags! They are so bad I am trying to figure out how to get back to Ontario by completely avoiding it! Might be a good chunk of your issues right there.

Yep, there are obvious areas where you can see where Coachmen cuts corners to save a lot of money.
On my Sportscoach I still laugh when walking in you see the Genuine Corian Counter Top symbol embossed into the counter, then open a kitchen drawer and they only fill half the available length that the drawers should be.
Still, CM gives you a lot for your money. My SC is the only DP I'd be able to afford.

Honestly, RV_Lee, the worst roads I ran into were in Indiana. I agree that its a lot tougher on northern states to have smooth transitions to bridges and such, due to the freeze/thaw cycles though.
I also agree, sherman12, that CM does give you a lot for the money. As it turns out, I would not have been able to afford a Super C either, if it weren't for the Entourage. Which makes it that much more difficult for me to afford to put $20K into a new suspension. I'm kinda between a rock and a hard place as far as that goes.
Thanks for your posts - I'm still looking for some Entourage owners to chime in though. or maybe even some Coachmen reps.

Other Entourage owners, there are probably only a few out there, then, do they subscribe to The Forum, so don't expect to much input from that direction. I've had me Sportscoach going on six years now and only DM back and forth with one other SC owner. Sorry about that
As far as CM reps checking in, Forget it. This forum is in no way affiliated with Forest River or Coachman. In my 12-13 years on this forum the only input from the factory came from a guy that owns is is part of ownership of Dynamax motorhomes. However, I've had good luck contacting CM with questions about my rig
Good luck.

Just saying now would be a good time to go to the Coachmen website and locate your unit/RV and pan down the page to the bottom. In the lowest part on your left should be the OWNERS Manual of the Page you're on. They go back a few years, and you can download to an SD Card for looking up something down the road should you have an issue.

The only problem with that logic - DogMan635 - is their website currently does not have a Users Manual for the Entourage. Wasn't able to determine if they had plans to add one in the future.
That's really too bad to hear that Coachmen or Forest River do not keep tabs on these forums - sherman12 - but thanks for the info. I've had some contact with the person that is supposedly in charge of the Warranty on the Entourage - but it seems mostly hit or miss on whether he responds to my emails or not. I have a phone number - but usually have to leave a voice mail. He has called me back once before - probably because my coach is still under warranty. But come September 2024...

huskisrw, one thing FR does pay attention to is the Forest River Owners Group. Again, not affiliated with FR, but as the name suggests FR owners. When I had my Georgetown and called them on a couple of issues I was asked early on if I was a member of FROG, yes Frog's, I wasn't, and I think I would have gotten better service if I was based on my perception on how conversations with GT factory reps went.

Thanks for that - sherman12 - I just joined. I had already joined the Coachmen Owners Association, but I had not heard of the Forest River one yet. I'll give it a try and see what happens. Stay tuned.

I did a little searching and located this spec sheet info below. But you are correct, nothing on the Coachmenrv website, maybe a different model change?
I found this Spec sheet on the RVUsa website; as you said anything and your correct nothing on the http://coachmenrv.com/ website. https://www.rvusa.com/rv-guide/2023-...-330ds-tr61076

I own Entourage Too. Lemon, Worse Decision of my Life
Bought one in late August 2023. Now April 4, 2024 we have not been able to use a single day due to problem and problem after more unfixable problems. First General RV of Ocala had the RV for over 4 months trying to fix all the issues (inverter broken, numerous leaks in RV from faultly plumbing, leaks over the entry door when rained, radio not working, damanged walls and floors from leaks, front end not aligned, recall (which they said they did but did not) etc. One time they kept it 40 days in did 4 hours of actual work, 1.5 hours with blown fuses (blown for a reason). We tried to take delivery 8 times. Then Coachmen called and wanted permission to bring it back to factory for ONE month. TWO months later, I got it back. While they did add some features, most all the same issues and far MORE exist. Front AC not functional, cabinet handles breaking off, inverter blew up when put on power (sounded like a strand of firecrackers and filled the RV with smoke), the Lippert Level system does not work, OnStar still after requested not operational, fresh water tank leaks BAD (they said they tested the plumbing - hard to do right when fresh water tank will not hold water), entry to propane tank latch stuck which had to be forced and damaged to get to propane, it was filthy when returned, not even broom clean (indicator not even the General Manager of Coachmen Entourage has a clue and inspects what expected - nice man though), power cord still requires near perfect roll up to fit in cord. I hired a lemon law attorney.
Coachmen regarding quality is all talk, and good intentions, but NO walk or results. While all RV's quality is bad since the pandemic, the Entrouage may be the very worse. Don't buy it and don't by from General RV, Please trust me. Pure Nightmare for 8 monts and not used a day. I am sure if I did take it on the road, like other posted in would fall apart. I have no IDEA about suspension as have only drove from home to awful dealer a few times.

Wow, Robot, that's the proverbial laundry list of things to be fixed. Did any of these issues come up during your PDI walk-through?
Smart move on your part with hiring an attorney. Have you thought about withholding payments, and putting them in an escrow account until you have full use of your rig?

Thx for ideas
First, I did not finance. Second, many main issues came up when tried first time to pick up RV. Over a period of 4+ months Gen RV of Ocala did not fix them. That is when Coachmen stepped in and said let us take it back to factory and get it right. Came back with many of the same issues, plus many more. They even told me after working on it for 2 months they took it thru a thorough PDI at factory. Well it was delivered with inverter that fried first time on power, Winegard still not working as promised, OnStar not functional after they promised would fix (and the vehicle infotainment center is wired for OnStar), fuel gage stuck on 1/4 tank, levelers not functional (probably a ground wire but they should have caught that), front AC not blowing out cool air and then completely failed and a fresh water tank that will not hold water, latch stuck on space holding propane tank that had to be broken to get to propane and sound like it is falling apart when driven and finally water leaks off the roof over the entrance door from condensation and rain. To add insult to injury, the RV had not even been broom sweeped with dust and wood shavings all over the floors and finally, the full take of propane was delivered with 1/3 full.
It's like a national lampoon movie. It is almost funny.
To their credit they did upgrade seat covers in cab, install a seond solar panel, replace all they wood work that was damaged from a leak that was 100% caused by them (they later sent out a recall to fix the problem), moved the auto power cord rewind switch so one did not have to have a hatch on their head to reach it. Also senior management from Super C division got involved and was very nice. They called me about every 10 days to give me updates. The said they thought could get in all done in a month, but took two months. This is a 2023 model. Perhaps 2024 have better quality but I would not be a penny on that.
It is borderline negligent. Yes, WOW, never even heard of RV expereince this bad and I have heard of many awful experiences. Bottom line, after Coachmen had RV for 2 months it came back with most all the same issues and many more.
PS, we tried to accept this vehicle without issues 8 times.

Oh my goodness - Robot107 - I was hoping to hear from some other Entourage owners, and was expecting to hear some pretty bad stuff. But your experience is way worse then I ever hoped to hear. I am so beside myself right now after reading your posts. I now have a sample size of 2 Entourage owners, and yes your experience is worse than mine - but mine is pretty bad as well. I have taken mine back to General RV in Wayland a few times with a laundry list of issues to fix - but so far they've come thru fairly well for me. But I'll reiterate, those problems paled in comparison to yours. I have taken mine on a few long trips, and likely 75% of my problems have been caused by how rough the coach rides in addition to some of the cheap furnishings Coachmen decided to put on the coach especially the drawers and cabinets. I do have one up on you, in that on our first trip the Black tank leaked - try explaining that to your neighbors at a NASCAR campground. I did also have some water damage, also caused by Coachmen, that had to be repaired - and cabinets replaced. I'm hoping only one more trip back to General RV to finish the repairs. But I am looking into suspension upgrades - and the best I've found is the Kelderman Air Suspension, but as you could guess - it is not cheap. Honestly, Coachmen should have opted for this in the first place with the Chevy 5500HD chassis. I'm sure you will see, if you eventually get to use yours - the ride is not like Cloud 9 - and it will break things on the coach. Just a few things to mention - bedroom TV quit working - microwave fell off wall - most drawer bottoms fell out - grey tank drain pipe seal broke.
I'm very interested to hear more about your experience - hoping things finally get resolved for you. I'll keep you posted on my suspension upgrades - cost/how does it ride now. I appreciate you taking the time to post.

Yes I just went through Indiana and their roads were also pretty bad, but a good portion were brand new concrete, so seems they have been fixing them. I took the Detroit/WIndsor border and it was a cakewalk versus going up though Ann Arbor and using Sarnia / Port Huron - the roads get REAL BAD up there.
Best of luck with your coach, sucks to hear you both having so many issues

The last time I drove through Indiana, just East of Elkhart I90 was the worst POS road we ever have driven on, extending right to the Ohio border where they magically changed.
DW and I figured that maybe some of the RV Mfgs. in Elkhart use it as a test track to see if their rigs fall apart, like the OP's cabinets and microwave falling off.

Good to know, I was planning on visiting the RV museum up in Elkhart, its $20 and they'll let you spend the night in their lot but I decided against it last minute. It is indeed funny how the roads change with the state line. Texas state line was like driving on glass after New Mexico
