Exterior switch help

I am trying to help my in-laws determine a switch’s use on the exterior water connection panel on their 2018 Mirada 29FW. There’s a rocker switch to the right of the light and above the city water connection in this picture that we cannot figure out what it does.

At first, we thought it was for the panel’s LED light. However this light appears only to be controlled from a different switch just inside the main entrance, adjacent to the steps. Does anybody have an idea what this switch does?

Thank you!

** I inadvertently posted this same question earlier in the general motorhome discussion, but figured it would be more appropriate in this Coachmen forum. It will not let me delete or edit the post, so I apologize for the duplicate post.

I would bet it's for the water pump.

Here is the owner's Manual I downloaded for the CoachmenRV.com website. This is the link: https://forestriverinc.help/#/coachm...-mirada/browse

I'm guessing, here but a light switch on the outside above the switch near the top and could be the light is out. What the other poster said would be a good possibility as a water PUMP switch.

Check fuses and circuits looking close are any showing half set as this would mean a possible tripped circuits. Good Luck

Since the light has it's own 'on/off' switch, it only makes sense that this is the switch for the 12v Water Pump, when you don't have 'city water' and want to draw water into the RV from the Fresh Water tank.

Now, since this an 'external' switch, it's possible, and LIKELY, that you also have a Water Pump switch INSIDE the RV, near the kitchen or in the bathroom.

It makes sense that you would want a switch in both locations since you have an 'outside shower', and you have inside faucets and a shower and a toilet, which all require water. While many of us other owners DON'T have an external Water Pump switch, we've all realized that it's really convenient to have one, rather than having to 'remember' to turn it on from the inside, when you want the 'outside shower' to work on the water pump, or having to 'holler!' to someone inside to turn it on.

I need one for my coach!

I replied in the other category - I have the same panel in my 2019 Mirada and the reference to Coachmen confirms it (at least in my mind) - it turns the water pump on and off. The light is controlled by the switch inside the RV
