Call Stephanie Wambaugh at 574-825-8317. She sent me new covers for the drivers & passenger seats and new cushions for the booth. She'll need to know you are original owner & VIN of your coach. She only works on Coachmen Class A's.

Coachmen Mirada Peeling Furniture

The quality of the furniture in my 2013 is awfully. Both captain chairs and sofa have been peeling. Has anyone had any luck in getting replacements of better quality?

No. Crickets from them. I too had major issues with peeling - everything. I recovered my couch and dining cushions and put covers on chairs. They told me to go to Williamsburg Furniture, but Williamsburg will NOT warranty the furniture , and no discounts either. They will not warranty material for reupholstering either. Poor customer service. Very disappointed!

Stay away from Williamsburg furniture, it is not only bad, but the customer service is awful.

Well, I guess I'm not the only one!

My wife and I have a 2015 Flagstaff. We've used it for about 6 months total in those four years and the loveseat/cough is peeling. It's awful. Took some pics today, but from what I've read so far, there isn't much they're willing to offer. Can someone tell me who or how to contact the right person in the company to discuss this?

I have a 2013 3170 DS SunSeeker with delaminating problems to all of the furniture in my coach. It seemingly is a huge issue without any help from either. I have reached out to FR. They noted that due to the age of the coach they could not help.

The sectional in my 2016 Georgetown was peeling, forest river said sorry, cant help. Williamsburg furniture said the material used is supplied by forest river....they sent me sample material swatches and for $315 sent me a new cover that needed no sewing. Slip on either zippered, velcro clips or stapled. They were excellent. Cant blame them for forest river cheap material.

Thanks so much for the information. I will reach out to Williamsburg furniture.

We are having the same problem with the leather peeling on the cushions on our couch. We have a 2011 Mirada. We were just at the factory having some work done and didn't mention the peeling leather. Figured they didn't handle furniture. So mAny repairs they contract out.

Wow! I did not know the factory worked on older units. How did you arrange that?

Leather peeling

A lot of us are having this issue!! So far they are making it very hard to have anything done about it. I emailed Stephanie Wambaugh at forest river and she sent me a form to fill out plus wanted all sorts of pictures of the leather peeling and the tag that tells where the couch was made. Surprise, surprise it was made by williamsburgfurniture!!!!Plus, our dinnette cushions are peeling also. She said they might possibly sell us new better quality material at their cost plus shipping and taxes. Then we would have to have some one replace the material with the new material at our cost. Big DEAL!!!! I don't feel this is satisfactory!!! We were just at the Coachmen factory and told them about it they said nothing they could do wasn't their problem. Every one seems to be getting a run around about this issue. They just keep passing the buck!!!

Forest river supplied the material, it's not Williamsburg furniture material. I had the same problem and forest rivers said SORRY.....Williamsburg sent me swatches, I picked one, they made me new covers. No downing. Replaced my sectional in about 8 hours. Not very difficult.Click image for larger version

Yes I find it hard to believe that no one has started a suit, we bought a 16 FR3 last year and all the upholstery is peeling off. No way the dealer did not know if this defect

I shudder every time I read one of these posts about Forest River and Williamsburg furniture. Seeing my Sportscoach is a 2014 which I just bought used in May with 15K miles on it I am holding my breath.

Has anyone gone to a local upholsterer to see what it would cost to either have stitched and sewn covers made or to have everything re-upholstered?

Don't hold your breath. I have a 2014 Sportscoach 361BH that we purchased used. Looked perfect until we started to use it. Peeling. Coachmen sold me cut and sewn covers for all of it for $700 (their cost). I did the re-upholstery work myself. They could not warranty because I was the second owner. The new fabric is a PU blend, nothing bonded.

jvalich, was that for both captains chairs, dinette and sofa? Also, how long ago was that and how long did you have the rig when everything started peeling and Coachman made their offer? Thanks!

Have a Prevost, Marathon or Monaco do we? FYI, the furniture industry overall had a problem with bonded products.

I seem to get compliments on my cheap crap Sportscoach all the time. Just have better things to do with $1M+ than sink it into a depreciating asset.
