Galleria battery hold down bots just spin and can’t be removed

Trying to replace the battery and the two bolts on the hold down just spin .

The bolts are just J shaped on the other end. You'll either have to have someone hold the other end with vise grips or cut them off and by new. They look like these and can be bought at any auto parts store.

sometimes the hooks can come out of the "frame"


lift the rod part and see if it re-engages the "frame " and stops spinning

happens a lot if battery is small and the nuts are spun up real high to remove the battery
