2017 Mirada select with 22,000 miles. Tech says inverter needs to be replaced as it is not communicating and fault reading says bridge problems. Is this unusual? Thank you.

without knowing what year/make/brand/model/size your inverter is, it's hard to give you any advice. Also, do you have a remote control panel, or just the inverter itself.

Does the inverter power the fridge, only? or is it wired into your Main panel where it powers some or all of your outlets, also?

Does it have an AGS model/function to start your generator automatically when your battery levels get low, etc? Sometimes this 'communications' problem is between the Inverter controller and the AGS module.

Although I know nothing about inverters except I love my Magnum in my Sportscoach since purchasing in May, two years old seems odd. Second opinions by a mechanic you trust wouldn't hurt vs. a tech at a RV dealer.
