Mounting a TV to Bedroom of 260DS

Hi All! We recently bought a 2020 Coachmen Leprechaun 260DS with power/cable hookups for a TV in the bedroom. I know there is also a factory option for a 24" TV on the wall where the hookups are located.

However, when I knock on the walls, they seem mostly hollow, so I'm a bit perplexed about what kind of mounting bracket is needed and where it should be attached to the wall.

Are there any 260DS owners out there that can post some pics of their bedroom TV bracket, and how it's mounted? Appreciate your support!

I used this mount, https://www.amazon.com/Peerless-10-I.../dp/B0009JR42Y I contacted Coachmen, and the sent me a diagram of the wall framing. I think I still used a stud finder......Bruce

I agree with you about the wall. What I did was to locate the aluminum studs, I put a piece of 1" x 3" screwed to the studs. I then connected a regular TV bracket to the 1" x 3", So far, so good after 4 years. I was also able to put a 27" TV.

Thanks jonwisconsin, bracing was my thinking as well. Did you use two 1x3’s for 4 bolt mounting?

FWIW, you can email FR and get drawings for the walls. I just did this last week. Got the drawing next day.

EnzimeX, I screwed the piece of wood to the aluminum studs. I did not think they were thick enough to but a bolt through them. It has worked for over four years. The TV does not height much.
