You might want to start your own thread. Might get more responses. I have no idea as to where the fuse would be in a motorhome. I could tell you in a travel trailer it is in the power center that has all the AC circuit breakers and DC fuses.

NavyLCDR, sorry but in case you did not notice, this the thread I started a long time ago. Many people who have Leprechaun and or 311FS post on it.

Isn't that the one I posted was under the plastic step of the drivers door? There's 2 fuses under it.

The slideout fuse for my Rockwood, underneath the trailer, along the frame. So the OP's Motorhome could also have it somewhere other than the power center fuse panel.

nvs4602, I forgot about your post. I will check to see if this is the fuse I am looking for. Thanks for your help.

Unfortunately, they don't always just put fuses on the panel, but keep in mind that they would be fused separately. Also, remember that they're interlocked with the parking brake on most. If it can't verify that the parking brake is set, they won't open.

OK. They both wouldn't be on the same fuse. Look for an interlock issue.

Well, I contacted my dealer and they contacted Coachmen. The response was the because the motors are not making noise that it must be the 5 amps fuses in the house battery compartment. We will see.

While we are on the subject of slide outs, where do you guys lube your slide outs at? I spray the gaskets with gasket silicone spray, but what about the mechanism. I really don't see a good place to lube.

Jon - Were you able to get your slides working? Thank you for the link regarding lubricating the slides!

We got home yesterday from our first of the year trip. While I've had issues with it before, the High Pointe Microwave/Convection oven gave me fits. It would work occasionally but most of the time after setting the power level and then the time, the display would show "FOOD" and would stay that way until hitting Stop. I guess user error is possible but I think it's the oven malfunctioning. Unless someone can tell me what I might be doing wrong, I've decided to just replace it. It doesn't seem like High Pointe gets very decent reviews. Has anyone put in a different unit in their 311 FS? If so, what did you get & was it an easy switch?

Doxies, yes, I was able to make it work. There are two 5 amps in the battery compartment as I was told by the Leprechaun person. I removed them. They were not blown so I put them back. They began to work. However, my wife wants me to try them several times before going out. I contacted my dealer and Leprechaun person again. They said it was probably a bad contact. They recommended I remove them and use a piece of sandpaper to clean the contact area or replace them with new ones. I have not done either one as this time of the year we don't use them much.

In regards to the microwave, they are not good. I have seen the "Food" on the display more than once. What I do to make it work is use the instructions on the inside lower label, and follow the instructions. It is kind of tricky. Our problem is that several times it starts to turn the glass table with the light on unexpectedly. I am told is the closing switch. I have not been able to locate it. When it happens, we leave the door almost close but not entirely. I need to figure out what to do next, I need to find the switch or replace the unit. I would not recommend these brand.

Jon - So glad your slides are working! We didn't know there were fuses in the battery compartment that were for the slide. So much is learned here!

Thanks - I had completely forgotten about the instructions inside the microwave itself. They are MUCH better than what is in the so called instruction manual! We haven't had your same problem with the glass turning & light coming on - yet. It's definitely not a brand I'd ever buy again. We head out again in another couple of weeks and will give it one more chance before looking for a replacement.

Doxies, for me learning is why started this post. Also, I have learned a lot from the input of so many in this post and other posts.

I mentioned the slide fuses before and thought it would be good to share a photo of them. They are located in the battery compartment. FYI. Just in case
