No water to ice maker

We just picked up our new Mirada and set it up in our driveway. It's level, plugged in to AC and water. It's sat all night with the fridge running but no ice! It has a Frigidaire residential fridge. There isn't any water in the tray. I've read the manual and it appears that the water valve is in the back of the fridge. It also said that the valve would chatter if there was no water at the unit. I've tried searching the forums but it does a google search even though I have FRF selected. Anyway to prevent me from making myself look like an idiot, does anybody have any ideas for something simple to check? I've checked fuses and breakers. Maybe there is a switch someplace that I'm unaware of. Thanks. I'll bite the bullet Monday and call the dealership if I can't come up with anything.

Is the bale wire down? If it is horizontal, it will not produce ice.
Other option, trace the supply line. Might be a valve closed in a cabinet under or next to fridge.

Likely, there is a water shut-off valve somewhere in the line, close to the fridge, that is closed. Check inside cabinets low to the floor, close to the fridge.

Good luck, and congratulations on the new Mirada.

Look for the valve under the sink.

No water to ice maker

Look on the fridge control panel and go through the menu and see if you can control the ice maker on and off. There will be several things you can control on the fridge if your FrigidaireClick image for larger version

Not familiar with the Mirada, but congratulations on the new wheels! On our TT, the outside access door for the water valve that allows water to pass to the freezer is directly behind the residential refrigerator.....but that would be impossible to miss, so I'll cast my vote with those who say to trace the supply line from somewhere under the sink. That's where ours originates, but the actual valve is in that access compartment. Also, ours is not what I consider a typical valve - it is white with a round top that you pull up to close the valve and push down to open it. If yours is also like that, you could easily miss it in your search (but it would be difficult to miss the blue pex piping that brings water to that valve). Also, on ours the ice maker does have an on/off setting, although the refrigerator itself does not. Sorry if this turns out to be an "apples to oranges situation" - that motorhome had a whole lot more potential hiding places in it than there are in our TT. Good luck.

I had a Sunseeker 3050, much the same as yours. I found my Ice Maker water shutoff behind the panel by the water heat. The panel was held in place by 4 screw. The shut off was a white push pull "Y" off the cold line to the hot water tank. Hope this is helpful to you.

We got ice!

I found the shutoff valve under the kitchen sink. I got messed up because the manual said a valve would chatter if no water supply. Oh well all is well. DW happy, happy life! Thanks everybody.
