Rear Closet shelf

Hi Everyone!
Just purchased a Coachmen Sportscoach SRS354QS and realize the shelf and hanger rod are to low for shirts to hang straight. Has anyone had this problem and is there a cure without tearing up the whole closet? Any suggestions would be welcomed. Some Pics to see the problem. Thank Don

Looking at our pics I don't see anyway of fixing the problem without doing a take apart and reinstall (as you would say tearing apart the closet) My first thought was move the shelf up. good luck

Without seeing an interior closeup, I can’t tell how the shelf and hangar rod are mounted to the sidewalls.

It appears you have access to the backside of both from the closets on both sides from an exterior mounting proposal.

Can you show us the closeup inside as to how the shelf and hangar rod attach?

I don't think you can do anything unless you move up or remove the shelf to acquire the space you need. Good luck
