Recommendations on RV Covers
I'm moving and I will have to park my 30' Mirada at an RV storage yard (shudder!!). It will be sitting in full sun. Any recommendations on good covers that provide UV protection, breath, and have a zipper type opening to get in the door which is on the right side just behind the front right wheel. They seem to go from $250 to $500. At those price points, I'm more interested in quality, durability and one that will breath and not damage the finish, nor hold moisture in after a rain. I'm in southern California and we get some rain, lots of heat, and a lot of sunshine. I hope I'm still going to be able to take it out every 4-6 weeks. I don't mind paying more for a better one.
Thanks in advance.

RV covers
I've had several ADCO (Tyvek Plus Wind) covers purchased from rvcovers.com & have been happy with both the covers and service from this business. Most important details to remember are to use padding on any areas on the RV that may wear a hole in the cover. The foam pool noodles work great on steps, sharp corners, etc.

Great YouTube video at https://youtu.be/LMwjjepZ6x8 on installing an ADCO cover on motor home.

We purchased an elements cover a couple of years ago and have been very happy .
First year we left the anti bellowing fixtures on the slides and they wore a hole in the Tyvec. last year we removed them with the drip rail extensions and problem solved. Watch for sharp corners like the ones on the solar panel. Other than that and checking the tightness over the winter no issues.

Ordered the above cover, 40+ pounds I think it must be better than the 18 pound light weight covers, we will see.
At $411 versus, $200 and something for the cheaper ones, I don't much care, as long as it lasts a few years.

Hey, we're in San Diego, if you would like to store your RV at our house, we have an RV space we're not using. Let me know how big it is and maybe you wont need to park it at a storage yard.

For downspouts, anti-billowing devices or other projections you can use tennis balls with an X cut into it or hollow pool noodles cut to length. For solar panel edges and other such edges use foam pipe wrap insulation you can buy at hardware stores for water pipes. You can get the pipe wrap in various diameters to fit. All the above are fairly inexpensive solutions.

When I stored a class A in Maine for the winter I used a Tyvek cover and it worked great. I believe I bought it thru Camping World.
