Sportscoach dL 36 2018

Hi!
Me and my husband have been looking at a sportsmen sportscoach 36 dL 2018.
We have been trying to find any information on them good or bad! But there is very little out there. If anyone who owns one, would please give us your input it would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you!

I've seen a few Sportcoaches in our 100,000 miles of travel in our 5 years, but honestly, I've seen more on the dealer lots than actually on the road, or in rv parks, etc... I believe they are good coaches, built along side the Mirada Select Class A gas, and others at the Coachmen facility in Middlebury, IN (building 1310), as I've delivered several Miradas to dealers across the country, but no Sportcoaches.

The Sportscoach is the 'diesel' line for Coachmen, though I don't believe they have a big market for them, and don't produce too many - the Class A Gas units get much more attention.

You may able to track down a Coachmen specific forum, or even a Sportscoach chat room, or similar, but even on these forums, we don't hear from too many of them.

We have the 2014 Sportscoach and love it. There are a couple of things which could be better: not enough outlets in bedroom or in slide out. Nice ride.

2011 Sportscoach 405FK, we've put 51,000 miles on it including an Alaska trip and it has never left us stranded. When you start with a Cummins engine and generator and put it on a Freightliner chassis you start with some very good bones. Like most RV's the faux leather seats crumble after just a few years which is aggravating, but we replaced it all with marine grade vinyl in the same color and are very happy.
Plan on doing a little tinkering before, during and after every trip to keep it going strong but it's a very good coach.
