Toad in Ceiling or Wall

I now have a toad someplace in the ceiling. Any idea how to get him out of the ceiling? Hard to pin point his exact location from his noise. He may be inside the bathroom wall.

I don't know much about frog species, but I have several times seen the small green frogs (I've called them tree frogs) inside plumbing vent pipes on house roofs. I wonder if a frog has found his way inside your vent and is not actually in the roof. On my 5th wheel, one could do it by getting under the vent cap. If this wild guess is correct, I bet he'll come out soon enough.

I would not expect it to stay as it will need food and water. May more likely be in a vent than the ceiling.

Most people haul toads behind their RV. I admire your "in the box" thinking.

Toad in Wall or ceiling ?

And you are positive that it is not a smoke detector cheeping? The sound is pretty similar to a spring peeper or tree frog.

Fully intended to make the same wise comment, but you beat me to it.

I picked up a tree frog in NOLA. Two days later I parked near a lake in an RV park and the next morning the frog was gone.

Had a tree frog inside the outer lower frameworks of the dining slide in Natchez. Made a lot of racket. Was gone by first rest stop!!

I usually find 1 or 2 on the side of my TT every season. Sometimes there is one in the awning arms while it's retracted.
