Water Filter

Does anyone know where I can purchase and what the price is for a WaterPur CCI-10-CLW 10-inch Water Filter. I am needing the entire assembly as I want to put it in a 2013 Mirada..

If Forest River will sell it to me, please email or respond with the information on how to order..

Thanks everyone for the info..

Why not just buy a house filter from Lowes or Home Depot?
Might be cheaper that way.

Have you tryed water pur directly? We ordered the canster from them direct without going thru FR? Agree with lowes or HD would be a cheaper way to go.

We bought them at Lowes and just took the filter out this afternoon and put the container back without a filter to see if there was a change in pressure. Found out there is no increase in pressure. Will probably put the filter back in. Adjustable pressure regulator set @ 50#.

As others have stated, you can get the entire assembly from Lowes, HD and other locations. I cracked the housing on mine and founded that all models do not have the same threads and had to buy a complete assemblage. $90 to replicate original, $55 from RV dealer, $35 from Lowes. As a lark, I decided to stop by Walmart and found a unit where the threads matched so I didn't have to replace the entire unit and it only cost $17 and was the same quality as all the others.

The filters are all the same size. Check type and water flow as some filters have low flow and won't operate properly with a water pump.

Right now, we still have the original water filter cartridge that came with the coach. But, when we decide to change it, I'll go back to an external, inline water filter from Campco. I think the two pack is under $20.
