I agree with you. Those plug in CO detectors are pretty useless at home. We bought a ten year battery one that sticks to the ceiling. Looking at one now that combines smoke/co and gives a voice alert for both the house and rv.

In my Adele, the propane / CO alarm is mounted in the seating area of the dinette. Probably, you find it there as well.

Sometimes it starts when I am sitting there. So, it is a kind of "wash your feet" detector as well....
