Wheel covers

I am trying to remove the rear wheel covers from my 2018 Concord. On previous RVs there has been 2 real nuts and 3 fake nuts. Very easy to remove. These seem to have 5 fake nuts. Maybe these come off by prying like in the old days? I am trying to change out the valve stems so I can install sensors.

No photo of your wheel cover was posted, but looking on-line at 2018 pictures (like I posted below), it looks like your Coachmen may have Dicor wheel covers. My understanding is the fake lug nuts have nothing to do with the cover’s attachment. The whole cover is pried off the rim at the outer edge.

Post a photo of your wheel cover to get accurate advice.

Yeah Marc, I echo BehindBars.

You mention fake vs. real nuts on previous RVs.
We’re they Class A RVs compared to the Concord?

Most Class C units run on 16” wheels vs. 19.5” and 22.5” of the larger Class A units. My previous Class A with 19.5” wheels had 3 fake nuts you mention, but my Class C has the whole cover come off.

Just sayin’.

Yep just pry off around the outer edge like we did in the past. They will jump out when they let go. See you on the road.
