I understand the device on the roof is the router. Some of the WiFiranger systems also have an indoor router.
Response I got on IRV2:
“Typically, the indoor router would be installed in an electronics cabinet.
But, there's a relatively easy way to determine whether you have one device or two. At the very top left-hand corner of the Ranger's on-screen control panel there is a WiFiRanger logo that contains the name of the model that you are connected to. If it says "Core" or "GoAC" then you do have an indoor router. If it says "Sky" then you have only the rooftop unit.”
Are you sure it was installed? My 20 Freelander was “supposed” to have wifi Ranger, but during the mid-year model change they stopped installing them, except in the Premier Models. I bought the King Wifi Max and installed it in my Bedroom Cabinet
