Window noise

We just tested a Leprechaun, new, and noticed noise coming from one of the windows. Is this normal? Have someone experienced this in his Class C?

My bride heard wind noise on 'her' side of the RV. I found a place where the cap and the body came together was missing some sealant. Repaired it and the noise when away. Try to isolate specifically where the noise is coming from. There could be a bad caulk joint or a slightly damaged rubber seal.

This is a like a chatter noise on the window, like the window frame is not tight enough. ????

Possible. Can you test drive a different unit and see if it has the same noise? That was one of the things we did when we bought ours was to test drive it before signing on the dotted line. I consider that part of my PDI, along with making sure everything works.

If you drive a second unit and it makes the same noise you know it may be a design issue, if it doesn't make the noise you know it is specific to that unit. Wind noise can be hard to track down and repair. If you can't fix it, you will be stuck with it as long as you own the unit.

Thanks Aaron. I like you suggestion. It rattles, and it's only one. They may need to tighten it or remove it and put it back properly. It's not wind noise.

Tested as in you haven't bought yet? You are in the driver's seat, so to speak. Get them to fix it.

Yeah, I haven't signed yet. That's why I was asking if this is normal on a Class C window and/or if someone else had this experience.
